Daylight analysis for this London school.
Eleven design iterations were assessed for 79 rooms throughout the school. Each iteration gave the architects information to help refine windows, room layout and solar shading devices.
The Rhino plugin Grasshopper was used to construct model geometry and process the calculations.
This made it very easy to test the impact of global design changes, such as window frame thickness, brise soleil design or sill height.
